Phenomena

Gábor Buda is presenting his book-plan entitled Phenomena in Lumen Gallery. The images in the book are selected of a large number of photographs the artist has been taking in the past years. Finally, this selection is a somewhat ironic, diary-like confession full of emotions, beauty and pain.

Gabor Buda’s artistic strategy seemingly lacks of strategy, which makes his body of work truly exceptional in the Hungarian photographic art-scope. A photographer in Nan Goldin’s or Wolfgang Tillmans’ tradition, going wherever the wind might take him, only to once again be dumbfounded by: Phenomena.
