Chronotopos in literature is both a formal and a substantive category. These two concepts are inseparable in literature because in the narrative one turns into the other, the properties of time are revealed by space, while space is measured and filled with content by time.

I have long been interested in the space-time relations used in various fields – such as film and literature. It is exciting to examine how these approaches work in photography, where image-making itself is authentic in time paradoxes. Waiting, arrival, birth, memory, forgetting, are all concepts related to time and, at the same time, image-making.

I thought of creating photos where we do not feel the dominance of the moment, which do not rush to celebrate the flash, the unmissable constellation, which does not make us believe that what comes before and after is less interesting. So, in terms of time, we experience an intermediate state, the spaces created in the images create the place for their own time. And just like the pictures, we are all waiting for this.
