Several European and national museums are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Judit Reigl’s birth with exhibitions. The Kiscelli Museum – Budapest Picture Gallery brings together exhibitions from the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin and the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest: while the former covers the artist’s most famous period, her paintings from the 1950s to the 1980s, the latter selects from the first and last years of Reigl’s career. The Kiscelli Museum – Budapest City Gallery focuses on the period between the two exhibitions and for the first time shows the importance of the portrayal of people in Judit Reigl’s entire oeuvre.
