I have been interested in geometric patterns since the beginning of my career. I create innovative material structures, autonomous works for exhibition, by highlighting and enlarging a pattern, using various special techniques. I am interested in the problematics of movement and spatiality in my patterns designed for industrial and small-scale production. In design, I am inspired by classical modern art, Japanese and African patterns. When designing materials, my primary aim is not to follow a trend, but to express my own sense of life and style, with the aim of creating a material that can be used in the long term. For me, this is one of the pillars of being environmentally conscious, and another is that I always think in terms of natural materials. The third is that I always work with a local manufacturer, helping small manufactures to survive.
