Everything is always misunderstood. Misunderstanding is an integral part of learning, or of the creative process in the studio. I misheard something, the news or information was misunderstood, it may have opened up a different interpretation for me than for others, but the conclusion was simple.
Often, a misunderstanding is the starting point for a dialogue, which, although based on the misunderstanding, becomes constructive. A creative work can be built on an initial misunderstanding, but the statement that constitutes the work is not a misunderstanding, even if it may be misunderstood.
